ABT Day Three

Well--here is Amanda after her first full day of classes last night! I think she enjoyed her day! She learned for her level's rep piece they will be doing a scene from Coppelia--Swanhilda's friends. A girl (from Colorado) that was in her level at Houston is also in her level here at ABT, so that was a happy coincidence! We went out to dinner last night and after that had a nice relaxing evening at home.







This picture is of the entrance to the ABT studios at 890 Broadway. This is where the girls enter! Parents are not allowed to go inside the building and there is a desk just inside the door with an attentive security guard. However, that doesn't bother us--we are glad that the security is so tight! ABT is in a nice section of New York on Broadway near Park Avenue so it is pretty safe!







Here is the line (it winds around the block) to get into ABT this morning! The doors open at 8:30 am. Can any one find Amanda--she is in the picture. Hint--she is wearing a bun--does that help? (lol) Actually if you want to find her, she is not in the group at the very end of the line but is about five or so girls in front of that group carrying a pink yoga bag and wearing a jacket that looks pink in the picture but is actually light gray.
