We are trying to make sure that we have everything that we need to take with us to New York City! Bruce is reserving our parking space today near our apartment. Yesterday Amanda and I went to Costco, Wegmans, and Giant to get non-perishable food for breakfast and lunch and all the other necessary items we want to bring, laundry soap, etc. Over the weekend, we purchased tickets to Guys and Dolls which we are seeing on Amanda's 16th birthday! Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls is a lead in the show, so Amanda is excited about the show! We will also be seeing Chicago while we are in New York and already have the tickets for that show.
Next week will be busy with dress rehearsals and the recital, so we are trying to wrap up most of our major shopping this week. I'm sure we will be able to find these items close by in New York City, but it seems easier to bring some things as we are taking the van when we initially arrive!
