ABT Day Twenty-Four and Times Square!

Today Amanda had her usual classes at ABT--ballet, technique, rep, and choreography! She had a good day of classes and lunch with friends!

We decided since our time in New York City is almost coming to an end, that we should make the most of our Friday night! So, we of course went to Pete's Tavern for dinner (we hadn't been there for five whole days)! After that we decided to get on the subway and go to Times Square, so we could experience all those lights at night!

We had a fun time and walked around quite a bit and saw the sights! We saw the ABC studios where Good Morning America is filmed and also saw 2009 ball in the middle of Times Square.
After a while we decided to leave, as Times Square always seems to be such a mob scene! We decided to take the subway back to our apartment, but to stop on the way and go to Shake Shack and try out their frozen custard.
Thankfully, they have a separate line for frozen custard, so we did not have to wait in the very long line for hamburgers!

The flavor of the day was red, white, and blue and it was very good. We made a mental note not to go there on
Sunday, however, when the flavor of the day is corn??? Maybe it is one of those flavors that sounds strange but is actually very good. Nevertheless, we decided that we would leave it to braver souls to order corn frozen yogurt.

We're planning a very busy day of sightseeing tomorrow!
