While Amanda was taking classes, I decided to go back to the Times Square area and walk around. It was very crowded as usual, but it was nice to be able to see the sights.
Then, I decided to take the subway and get off at
34th Street, and go back to Macy's--the scene of the crime where I hurt my foot. I limped over close enough to the entrance to see that the offending culprit (the barrier) that I had tripped over t
wo weeks ago, was now gone!
I entered the store and browsed for a while. It escaped my notice before that there are three Starbucks inside Macy's--in addition to an Au Bon Pain, Ben and Jerry's, Auntie Annes, McDonalds, and a nicer Macy's restaurant in The Cellar. I didn't end up eating there--but there were surely many options.
Soon, I went home and spent some time resting my foot and writing the blog before it was time to mee
t Amanda.
After Amanda was done with her classes, we went to Cosi for dinner. It was a nice casual place to eat and we enjoyed our time there. I believe there is a Cosi in northern Virginia in the Reston area.

We hope that you had a good day too!
